The key areas of our education initiative is to provide school support to remote or rural communities.
In remote rural communities, schools are often neglected and chronically under-resourced. The CONGO HOPE Foundation intends to make the construction and rehabilitation of schools a priority since the organization’s inception. The education program consists of infrastructure assistance through the construction of classrooms and the provision of equipment; construction of sanitary facilities, provision of fencing and security; setting up vegetable gardens; and support for high school students’ career guidance courses.
The CONGO HOPE Foundation’s overall goal is through a program to develop natural leadership potential by offering disadvantaged children the opportunity to improve their career prospects by studying at the college or university level. Children are required to give back to their community during their vacation by conducting an activity that involves and elevates the community, for example, career guidance in high schools, community clean-up campaigns or help in local clinics.
